Gustaf Lindström

Gustaf is an award-winning Director and VFX Generalist based in the UK.

Gustaf Lindström is a visual effects artist with a portfolio that spans commercials for some of the world's most prominent brands, including Gucci, Devolver, and Lenovo. His expertise in VFX is also showcased in music videos for renowned artists such as Sébastien Tellier, Sampa, and Delta Heavy, as well as his contribution to the viral sensation Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared.

 

He also has an impressive track record in live productions, having crafted original visual art for grand events at venues like The Royal Albert Hall, The London Palladium, and The SSE Hydro, amongst others.

 

Gustaf is also an award-winning writer/director. His debut animated short film, Plankton, earned multiple accolades, notably the Best Animation award at the Oscar-Qualifying film festival, InterFilm Berlin.

 

This accomplishment paved the way for the comedy series Drifters on FX Networks and the notable Black Death series, with a star-studded cast.

 

Originally from Sweden, Gustaf pursued his passion at The Animation Workshop in Denmark, graduating in 2014 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Graphic Arts. During his academic journey, he art-directed the short film Parrot Away, which was honored with a spot in the Annecy Film Festival’s Official Selection in 2015.
