Plankton

A short film about planktonic organisms might not sound like the kind of thing to feature some of the UK’s top comedy talents and go on to win multiple awards—including an Academy Award-qualifying one — but Plankton is a very special project.

This was my first independent short film, and I’m talking independent! To the point of not even having any funding behind it. It was a passion project made with the help of a few extremely talented friends willing to lend their talents, culminating in an odyssey of dark comedy and, somehow, a film festival darling.
